The tour was a great experience, very different from the usual sightseeing routes. I really enjoyed discovering areas that most visitors never see, which gave me a more authentic understanding of Chongqing. The organization was smooth, and everything went perfectly from start to finish

Honestly, everything went very well. Maybe just keep offering flexible options for travelers who want something more local or unconventional — that’s what made the experience truly special.

Shawn was super friendly and really knew the city well. He was happy to adjust to whatever I needed along the way and shared lots of helpful tips for the rest of my trip. The whole experience felt relaxed, almost like taking a stroll with a friend.

The tour itself was unique, offering a chance to explore non-touristy neighborhoods and observe the daily life of the locals, definitely something I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. I also appreciated the flexibility, especially their willingness to adjust the timing to fit my schedule. It made the experience feel personal and thoughtfully arranged.

Shawn is wonderful. We did the Train and Rides walking tour with him, and he made sure we enjoyed the experience even though it was raining. He communicated clearly, guided us around thoughtfully, and shared interesting stories about the places we visited and Chongqing in general.
Throughout the tour, I could see that Shawn tried his very best to navigate the routes as smoothly as possible. He put in great effort and remained friendly and enthusiastic throughout.
I’d happily give Shawn 6 stars once he becomes even more familiar with the routes. Thank you, Shawn!!!

It was our first time in China and we visited Chongqing. Amazing city but very difficult to find your way around and even basics like public transport, ordering food and payments were difficult. I found Hugh Chongqing on Instagram and asked for a tour. He arranged Shawn to take us around. Shawn is a very friendly person and knows all the main attractions and the best and quickest way to get there, we had a full day and had a great experience with him. I would definitely recommend him for your next tour to Chongqing.
