Our walking tour begins at Eling Park, constructed during the Qing Dynasty, stands as the highest peak within the city area. It serves as an exemplary representation of Chongqing’s garden art, exuding the charm of Jiangnan-style gardens.

We walk to TEST BED 2, a former printing plant, now has transformed into a cultural and creative park, attracting numerous artists, designers, and media creators. Moreover, it serves as an excellent vantage point for admiring the scenic beauty of Chongqing, where the two rivers converge.

Then we’ll head directly to Liziba Metro Station to witness the viral ‘Train Go Through Building’ phenomenon, then take this line to Kui Xing Tower, known as the ‘22nd-floor square‘.

Eighteen Steps is a traditional style district in Chongqing. It used to be one of the earliest residential neighborhoods in the city. Additionally, it has preserved air-raid shelters built during the wartime.”

Bai Xiang Ju is a 24-story residential building constructed in 1992. It houses 300 households and remarkably, there is no elevator. Despite its lack of modern conveniences, Bai Xiang Ju stands as a quintessential example of Chongqing’s architectural character. Many Chinese movies and TV dramas have been filmed here, making it a popular spot for both filmmakers and visitors.

The best time to visit Hongyadong is in the evening when the lights come on, transforming the night view into something breathtaking.
