Learn about Tibetan traditions and daily life, then join a Lungta blessing ritual—scattering prayer papers into the wind for good fortune. A peaceful cultural encounter in the heart of the mountains.

12:00 – 1 PM – Authentic Tibetan Lunch

Indulge in an authentic Tibetan-style lunch, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Enjoy tsampa (roasted barley flour), yak meat dishes, handmade momos (Tibetan dumplings), and fresh dairy products such as Tibetan yogurt and butter. This meal is a true taste of the region’s traditional, original ecological cuisine.

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Butter Tea-Making Experience

Step into a traditional Tibetan home and learn the art of making butter tea, a staple in Tibetan households. Guided by a local Tibetan, you’ll blend freshly churned yak butter with brick tea and salt, using a traditional wooden churn. Savor the warm, rich tea as you learn about its significance in Tibetan daily life—providing warmth, energy, and a sense of community.

2:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Optional Cultural Activities

Choose from a variety of hands-on activities that showcase the artistic heritage of Tibetan culture:

Traditional Paper-Cutting – Learn this lesser-known Tibetan craft, where intricate patterns and spiritual motifs are cut from paper to create meaningful artwork.

Thangka Painting – Try your hand at this intricate Tibetan Buddhist art, learning the symbolic meaning behind each stroke.

Tibetan Costume Experience – Transform into a true Tibetan by dressing in authentic Tibetan attire!

4:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Yak Hotpot Feast

As the sun sets, gather around for a hearty yak meat hotpot, a favorite Tibetan dish perfect for the cool highland climate. Enjoy the rich flavors of tender yak meat, wild mushrooms, and local vegetables simmered in a fragrant broth.
